Just as Sony mentioned, it is solely a remote playing handheld for playing PS5 games. As a result, gamers or handheld enthusiasts are having mixed reactions to this particular device. Because a device like this is going to have many flaws and at the same time, some good stuff can also be found. First of all, users have to be the owner of a PS5 console in order to get access to games. So, users will not be able to stream games from other cloud gaming platforms such as Steam Link or any other cloud gaming services.

On the bright side, you get to play PS5 exclusives on a small portable device over a Wi-Fi connection, which is quite impressive. Although PlayStation hasn’t shared anything specifically about the internal specs, but according to a tweet by Geoff Keighley, it is going to have an 8-inch display with 1080p resolution and a frame rate of 60FPS. Also, one other thing that is worth mentioning is that it is equipped with DualSense wireless controller. So yes, you get to feel the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback on this handheld console, which is something to look forward to.

Logitech G Cloud

In contrast, Logitech G Cloud is also a cloud gaming handheld that is exclusive to Microsoft. But unlike Project Q, users are not only stuck with the dedicated platform such as Xbox Game Pass. With G Cloud, you can get access to a library of several other platforms, such as Geforce Now or Steam Link. As for the display, this one comes with a 7-inch screen, featuring 1080p resolution and 60 hertz of refresh rate. On top of that, it is powered by a Snapdragon 720G Octa-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.3 gigahertz and 64GB of storage, which is quite good for a cloud-based handheld console such as this. Also, the Dual-Band Wi-Fi seems really decent for streaming all your favorite games on G Cloud.
